End of sales and support for Opsgenie

Atlassian ended new sales of Opsgenie on June 4, 2025, and will end support on April 5, 2027. Move to Jira Service Management or Compass to continue using incident response features, now with enhanced capabilities. Read the full announcement

Add or remove an incident responder

Add responder to incident

Add a responder to the Incident by beginning to type in the selection text box.

Individual Responders:

  • Responders include any valid Opsgenie users with User, Admin, and Owner permissions and can take most actions on any incident they are added to.

Teams:

  • Opsgenie Teams who can be part of the resolution process can be added as Responders.

Responders

Remove responder from incident

Responder teams can be removed from the Incident.
